This universal mounting plate allows for a DSC PowerSeries Pro or Neo to be installed with the standoffs into an already existing enclosure in the same location as the old panel it is replacing. The zones of most systems are on the bottom as is this new panel which saves a ton of valuable time. It also removes the need to add onto wires and remarking zones and such because the hole locations are different. If you use a Pro to replace a system, it allows you to even use the same resistors and change the programming to the new resistor value.
Saves an enormous amount of time removing, relabeling, extending wires, redrilling wire holes, and rewiring panel. Sometimes you just can’t fit the new panel in its location, so this solves that problem too. If you use the Power Series Pro you can even match the existing resistor value saving you from removing the old ones in the field or otherwise.
Where the mounting plate specifically fits means that it will line up with mounting holes or tabs from the original panel locations and in most cases use the same screws to hold the mounting plate. On the Bosch 8103 Enclosure you will need a sheet rock screw to go through the enclosure and hold the tab in place if you want it solidly mounted. On the Radionics 6112 you can bend up the tabs to hold it on the top and put a screw on the tab at the bottom to hold it in place.
Make sure you ground your system as the manufacturer suggests.
Make sure you look for our other accessory board mounting plates as well.
